Charcoal on Black. The ultimate in understated. Enough said.

Adventure Junky custom embroidered patches are manufactured using the industry's most advanced computerized looms and quality colorfast threads. Our patches are washable, dry-cleanable, shrink-proof, and are extremely durable. They will actually outlast most garments. Their over-locked merrowed borders, which wrap around the edge of the entire patch, will not unravel, fray, or curl.

Patches measure 2.75 inches, or 7 centimetres in diameter.

Adventure Junky patches come in a Heat Seal (AKA Iron-on) backing allowing you to apply your patch onto a garment using a home iron. If you are planning to wash your garment more than 50-80 times after the patch is applied, it is recommended that heat seal only be used for pre-placement before sewing, and then followed up with a few tag stitches along the patch to hold it in place longer. NOTE: Heat seal will not stick to nylon or other synthetic fabrics.

Morale Patches

The term ‘Morale Patch’ stems from the military. Morale Patches are similar to standard military patches, except they are non-sanctioned and unofficial. Often irreverent or humorous, their purpose was, and is, to boost morale and build unit pride. It’s believed Morale Patches were inspired by the nose art often painted on WWII aircraft by its crew, as means to personalise and give their aircraft a life of its own. Years later, velcro was used to attach official uniform patches making it possible to remove them quickly should the situation call for it, such as a flier downed in combat. Velcro was also adopted for Morale Patches allowing troops to quickly and creatively add or remove a piece of personal pride. With the utmost respect and acknowledgement to the originators, Adventure Junky utilises the Morale Patch as a means to foster its own ‘esprit de corps’.
